A Toxic Workplace Likely Has Unmotivated Employees

Mental health, emotional grief and any form of compromised health is disruptive and disorienting. What’s worse is that some people will make you feel like you are overreacting. Any form of compromised health affects us emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. It impacts us within and those around us; as well as ensures missed opportunities in our lives that may improve our lives and/or help us achieve our goals more quickly.

I thought I would share the below with you from EAP, did you know…….

A toxic working environment is one where you feel psychologically unsafe. There’s often a general feeling of negativity, unhealthy competition, and aggression. A recent report indicated that a toxic work environment was the number one reason people left their jobs during the post-COVID-19 “Great Resignation” — not because of compensation (as most people believed).

In the next blog, I will share some insight on how you better deal with Mental health in the workplace where a toxic environment does exist.
